Virginia "Jini" SimpsonPresident
A lifelong Republican thanks to the influence of my Mother and Grandmother, who together helped raise my 2 brothers and my sister. Born in New York City, after elementary school, moved to Texas for High school and College, but have now lived in 6 States. Arizona has been home for 30 years and is home to my sons, daughter in law and 3 amazing grandsons. In Paradise Valley, I served on the Planning Commission, and then the Town Council for 12 years including being Vice Mayor. Local Government means serving neighbors, so it was a great honor. Serving as President of Palo Verde Republican Women allows me to work alongside the most amazing, dedicated, and hardworking Republicans! It is both a challenge and a Joy! My Corporate Life prepared me for the Challenge. Their Enthusiasm for the mission, their Dedication, and their Love of Country has been an Inspiration!

It is my pleasure to serve as your 1st Vice President. I had previously served as the Club Parliamentarian to serve the President and our Board. I also serve as the Treasurer for the Palo Verde PAC where we raise and solicit funds for our National, State, and County Republican Candidates. I love this club, and we have amazing ladies in our group who are all dedicated to preserving our conservative values. I also serve on the Design Review Board for the City of Scottsdale where we review and approve applications for development in our City. I am also a PC (precinct committeewoman) for LD23 where I live. My husband and I retired in 2019, and we now devote our volunteer time to conservative efforts. We also try to travel for 10 days a month in our travel trailer with our 3 dogs.
Judy Clouse
Judy Clouse2nd Vice President
I serve as the 2nd Vice President of Membership, an office I previously held in 2015. I joined PVRW in 2011 and served as club Secretary in 2012-2013.

I hail from Ohio and am an Ohio State graduate and an avid Buckeyes’ football fan.

Our family moved to Arizona ten years ago when my husband’s job brought us here. I subsequently decided to retire after 31 years in the corporate world to enjoy life in the Valley of the Sun! My husband, dog and I now live in Fountain Hills, and as you can tell by my picture, I love spending time entertaining my grandkids!

I am the President and co-founder of Arizona LEOS (AZ Law Enforcement Outreach and Support), a 501c3 charity.

I am married 32 years to Jim Hill.

I was born in South Dakota, the state of “Great Faces--Great Places”. This was my home until graduating from the University of South Dakota where I met my husband who was in graduate school. We have 2 adult daughters/sons-in-law, 2 grandchildren, 2 Shih Tzus, and a new Morkie rescue. Our daughters and families live in the Valley allowing us to spend considerable time together.

After 40 years as a clinical scientist in various locations, I wasn’t ready to retire thus pursued the training and licensing for a Business Broker. I am thankful for the opportunities afforded me living in a country that values freedom.

When moving to Arizona I had an interest in learning about state history and getting involved in politics. PVRW was a great match for I have gained much knowledge over the past several years as a member. I am currently serving as Secretary and Chaplain of the club.

I am a proud Army brat. My father's assignments took us all over the world. I lived in Tokyo, Paris, and graduated high school in Rome. I graduated from the University of Arizona where I met my husband, Warren. He was a Captain in the Air Force, so my life did not change much as we lived all over the US. We have two grown children, two dogs, two horses, and two grand dogs!

After we retired from the USAF, my husband and I opened Marlowes Interiors, a full-service Interior Design business in the Scottsdale Airpark. We had a very successful run for 16 years and then retired permanently!

I have been involved with PVRW for about 15 years. I served as President for five years and during my administration, we were named the Best Republican Club in Arizona by the AZGOP. I have served as a fundraising chair and was a proud part of establishing our Palo Verde Scholarship at ASU. Currently, I represent the club as its Treasurer.
