April Update!
Hello everyone,
The AzFRW Summer meeting is going to be here in Phoenix, May 17-18 at the Embassy Suites North Phoenix. Their phone number is: 602-375-1777, and room rates are $99.00 per night which includes a full breakfast and Happy Hour! When making your reservations use the code AFR. I hope to see lots of you attend–it could be a very interesting general session on Saturday…the agenda should be on the AzFRW website soon.
Anita, Cheryl Pelletier, Nancy Pryor, Roberta Heine and I spent the weekend in Albuquerque…(the most difficult word to spell)…and had a blast at the NFRW Regional meeting. John Fund, of the Wall Street Journal, Congressman Chris Stewart of Utah, Laura Carno, founder of IAmCreatedEqual.com and our own AMAZING Robert Graham, AZGOP Chair, spoke to us Saturday morning. Then, New Mexico Governor Susanna Martinez spoke to us at the Saturday night banquet. Ladies, she is fantastic, and beautiful, too! Look for a full report in this month’s Patriot. We have lots going on in our Club right now…a newly created TWITTER account and our website, too….please take a look and start Tweeting from PVRW, we must get the hang of social media if we are going to keep Arizona RED. I’m FINALLY feeling comfortable with the website and now Cheryl throws me the Twitter loop….oh, well, we’ll all get the hang of it eventually.
Our May 15th. meeting is going to highlight how we….the most incredible GOP volunteers ever, will be able to use our skills in the upcoming 2014 election cycle. Robert Graham, AZGOP chair, AJ La Faro, MCGOP chair, and Doug Little, LD23 chair, will give us the rundown on the what’s, the where’s and the when’s of our participation! Please get your reservations into Jan Stephenson asap!
See you in a few weeks!
Joan
