On May 18th, Dan Saban will join us to talk about why he is running for Maricopa County Sheriff. Saban, a Republican, is running to unseat Sheriff Joe Arpaio in the August 2016 primary election.
About Dan Saban: Dan Saban is an accomplished, award-winning law enforcement professional with more than 35 years of public and private sector experience in policing, management and business consulting.
Dan’s career began as a deputy with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and continued with the Mesa Police Department where he worked his way up from patrolman to Commander. By this time, Dan’s solid reputation as a distinguished public safety leader was established and he was recruited by the Town of Buckeye to be Police Chief. In Buckeye, he transformed and reshaped a growing department, raised the standards of professionalism and performance, and rebuilt trust and respect for his officers in the community.
