New York Times’ Keller Tries, Fails to Defend Common Core

Are we really going to give the federal government control of all aspects of our lives? “When we consider these aspects: that many of the textbooks and outcome measures of academic success will be aligned with Common Core, that the risk to privacy of children’s personal data is linked to Common Core, and that school choice will be diminished with Common Core, it is not difficult to see this initiative as a “national takeover of schooling.””

Church Forced to Cancel Mass First Time in 1600 Years

The silence from the American media is overwhelming. “A church in Minya, Egypt cancelled Sunday mass for the first time in 1,600 years. Other churches were forced to cancel prayer services as well due to violence against the country’s Christian population.”

Christians Murdered All Over Egypt, New Puppy at White House

Look, a new puppy! Obama’s team certainly knows how to wrap the low-information crowd around their scandal-stained fingers. “The White House knows what it is doing. Shame is in short supply. Keep the low-information crowd fed with bread and puppies while evil flourishes. Any change in programing from puppies to religiously motivated murder will upset the White House narrative, and provide the terrifying images of White House appeasement.”

And last but not least, a couple of articles concerning the outrageous recent launch of Al Jazeera TV in America:

Al Jazeera Targets America

“A bullet kills a man, a lying camera kills a nation.” “One of the most blatant examples of media manipulation, in order to mask the channel’s terrorist roots, is adding “America” to its name in order to confuse viewers. It is still funded by the Jihadist-supporting dictatorial regime of Qatar, which sheltered bin Laden lieutenant and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed before he went to Pakistan and cut journalist Daniel Pearl’s head off.”

Why are Journalists Celebrating Al Jazeera America?

Media Bias: “Journalists who went berserk after two U.S. industrialists announced an interest in the Los Angeles Times are cheering the launch of a cable news network funded by a repressive Arab government. Go figure.”
